A great football coaching game of quick  passing, support, quick combination and spatial awareness. The players will really have to be on their toes, be alert and be quick and accurate with both their passing and support.

A fast moving, exciting pass and move football coaching game. There are two teams. One team defends the three mini goals and one team defends the central triangle goal. Play lots of games and reverse the roles of the teams.

This is a phase of play practice to work on attack v defence with a focus on coaching forwards to play in the hole between the defence and midfield.

This is a fun possession based football coaching drill, that is somewhat like Tiki-taka, the style of play made famous by Barcelona. The players on the outside of the square and the one in the middle of the square have to keep possession away from the defenders in the square. The team with the ball get extra points if they can pass the ball to the golden player in the square or between the defenders. Rotate players often.

Statistically, a single cross has on average a greater goal threat than does a single final third pass. Crosses are a high risk, high reward skill compared to a ground based passing strategy that is low risk, but also low reward for each individual pass.

Jack Wilshere is a great example of a young English player who has really good spatial awareness and the ability to create and find space and use turning skills to create space for himself.

Virtually all of the top strikers can create and take long range shooting opportunities. They have a positive attitude to shooting from distance and apply a controlled, effective shooting technique. Drills are great for mastering the technique of power shooting, but conditioned games that create lots of game related power shooting opportunities are the real deal for improving players.
