How to coach effective counter attacks
Counter attacking is a very effective attacking tactic. Once the ball is won, the counter attack has to be quick to advance down the pitch and attack the opposition, whilst the opposition team still have players going forward and who are then caught out of position and briefly the wrong side of the ball and out of the play.

Simply and dramatically improve your teams goal scoring
It's simple. To dramatically improve your teams goal scoring, put on sessions and conditioned games, like the one in the video, which will encourage lots of early, game related crosses into the danger area and coach attackers on wanting to get on the end of the crosses and on the timing, angle of their run and their finishing techniques.

Football Training on how to defend a counter attack
In football, one of the biggest dangers is on the turnover of the ball that happens when the attacking team lose the ball and have committed players forward. They are open to a quick counter attack and many goals are scored from this transition of attacking to then having to defend a counter attack. The problem for the defending team is that they are now outnumbered, disorganised and have lots of space behind them, which is difficult to defend. This is the football training subject of a question from one of our coaches:
