PROGRESSION 5 – FOUR CORNERS POSSESSION GAME

ORGANISATION

Play 4 v 4 in the middle
Four target players in target zones, who play with whatever team have possession.
Area to suit the age and ability of the players
Team in possession use the target players to keep the ball
Rotate team and players
Competition is to see which team can keep possession for the most passes

COACH POINTS

This is a session that leads into Football Association Level 2 coaching. The session can be used to focus on two FA Level 2 topics:

1. Turning with the ball

2. Support play
