PASSING, SUPPORT AND MOVEMENT DRILL – PASS IN FOURS
A FOOTBALL COACHING SESSION TO IMPROVE PASSING, SUPPORT AND MOVEMENT DRILL – PASS IN FOURS.
ORGANISATION
Lay out four cones, A,B,C and D as outlined in the graphic. The distance between the cones should be between 10 – 20 yards. The cones can be placed at different angles to each other. This practice is adaptable and by setting out other cones, it can accommodate more groups of players.
To start the practice, Player A passes to player B. Player B initially checks away from the ball, before checking back to receive the pass. After the pass, player A makes a supporting run to receive a set pass from player B.
